Desktop
Section titled “Desktop”The web studio’s MIDI connection uses Web MIDI, so use a current Chromium-based browser. Connect the kit before opening Rhythma, approve MIDI access, and keep the tab active during setup. Wired USB MIDI is normally the most stable connection.
Desktop audio latency depends on the browser, operating system, and output device. A wired interface or the drum module’s AUX/MIX input is preferable to Bluetooth audio. Rhythma displays browser-reported Output latency in Timing Alignment when available.
iPhone and iPad
Section titled “iPhone and iPad”Ordinary iOS browser tabs do not expose the Web MIDI API used on desktop. Use Rhythma’s iOS app MIDI path for wired USB or Bluetooth MIDI. A powered USB adapter or hub may be required when the module draws power.

Bluetooth MIDI transmits compact performance messages and is often usable; Bluetooth audio buffers sound and is the common source of a noticeable delay. A wired audio path is strongly preferred for graded practice.
Whenever you change platform, browser, output route, or MIDI transport, run Timing Alignment again. A saved offset from one physical path should not be assumed correct for another.
