Exporting and sharing

When a Compose grid contains playable notes, choose Export MIDI. Rhythma asks for a pattern name, converts the current grid timing and voices to a percussion MIDI file, and downloads it through the browser.

Open the resulting .mid file in a DAW or notation tool that supports standard percussion MIDI. Sound selection is controlled by the receiving software; the file carries note and timing data rather than Rhythma’s audio samples. Check tempo, time signature, bar count, and variants before export.

For a quick playable handoff inside the studio, Run pattern as exercise opens the current pattern in the player for a single untracked run. Save to Library preserves a valid named pattern for later use in the studio. Import Lesson JSON preview is a preview/import control for a compatible lesson document, not a general MIDI importer.

If another program assigns the exported notes to unexpected drums, select a General MIDI percussion map in that program or remap there. This does not mean the Rhythma input profile is wrong: input mapping and exported MIDI playback are separate paths.
