Which browser should I use?
Section titled “Which browser should I use?”For desktop MIDI, use a current Chromium-based browser. The web studio calls Web MIDI directly; Safari and Firefox do not provide that same path. On iPhone or iPad, use Rhythma’s iOS app MIDI connection flow.
Why can I see hits but not hear them?
Section titled “Why can I see hits but not hear them?”MIDI is performance data, not audio. Normally you hear the drum module directly. To hear Rhythma samples while testing, open Settings → MIDI → MIDI Monitor and enable Play drum samples for MIDI hits. Leave it off if the module is already audible, or you may hear doubled attacks.
Why is the click delayed?
Section titled “Why is the click delayed?”Bluetooth audio is the usual cause. Use wired headphones and route Rhythma and the module through the same module AUX/MIX input, mixer, or interface. Then run Timing Alignment.
Why does a pad show “Unknown” or the wrong voice?
Section titled “Why does a pad show “Unknown” or the wrong voice?”Select the correct kit profile and check MIDI Monitor. An Unknown (Note …) / Unmapped hit needs a different profile, MIDI Learn — Create Custom Profile, or a corrected note assignment on the module.

Why are dynamics unavailable?
Section titled “Why are dynamics unavailable?”Keyboard input has fixed velocity. Mixed input or too few repeated hits can also make velocity unreliable. Use MIDI and a broad, consistent velocity range.
Why did MIDI permission fail?
Section titled “Why did MIDI permission fail?”Reconnect the device, reload, choose Connect MIDI, and allow the prompt. If previously blocked, reset MIDI permission for the site in browser settings. Confirm the page is secure and no other application owns the device.
Why do I get double or missing hits?
Section titled “Why do I get double or missing hits?”Watch MIDI Monitor. If the module sends duplicates or very low-level leakage, adjust its threshold, sensitivity, retrigger, and crosstalk settings. Those controls are hardware-level, not Rhythma settings.
Why does playback stop or crackle?
Section titled “Why does playback stop or crackle?”Close heavy tabs and audio applications, reconnect the output device, and interact with the page once to unlock browser audio. Avoid changing audio devices mid-attempt; reload and realign after changing the route.
